Driving into the City

Via Kottke.org, we find out just how hard it would be to accommodate all of the traffic that the subway carries into Manhattan every day. Michael Frumin explains that you’d need a 228 lane Brooklyn Bridge to carry the traffic in and three Central Parks for parking: What if you got rid of the NYC subway?
